11/10/2023 0 Comments Run walk timer app![]() ![]() ![]() As a repetition and time counter this app is very flexible and meets my need to record and track my workout - even though my exercise is moderate by most standards. I also like the graph that shows each exercise and the amount of time I spent on it. The paid version allows me to set up all of my exercises and allows me to easily shorten or lengthen my workout based on the amount of time I have. I don't use the app the way an athlete might but rather use the low and high intensity to time the length of time doing an exercise - for me low intensity is the time exercising and high intensity is my rest time. I'm not a gym rat but wanted a way to time and measure a few exercises I do. I really like the flexibility of this app. I wish the company had a more private way to give performance feedback about the app. THIS REALLY IS AN AWESOME APP THAT DOES EXACTLY WHAT I NEED. Previously the display refresh was much quicker. It’s just the display that is sluggish when switching back to it. When I switch back to interval timer it takes several seconds for the timer display to adjust to the end of the exercise. I listen to NPR or watch video during parts of my exercise routine. The 4.1.9 update resulted in sluggish responsiveness when using switching between 2 apps. ![]() If this can’t be fixed, I’ll have to figure out how to force my Fitbit app to do this, or I’ll have to get another interval app. I really miss being able to pause for a minute or three, though. Again, maybe that was a residuals thing and the devs needed to cut some costs. I miss the human voice announcing the routine is complete (she was replaced by a computer-generated voice). I assume that was an IP thing, and sometimes things like that can’t be helped. They remain in old routines I created, but I cannot add those same sounds to new routines. I’m disappointed some of the sounds were removed. I also echo a previous reviewer’s comment about available sounds. Additionally, IntervalTimer (free or pro) is not listed on their site. I went to Deltaworks’ website to try to contact their support rather than mention this in a review, but they don’t seem to have anything listed for support. I was used to that earlier if I had it paused for awhile (like 5 minutes or more), but today I lost my routine when it was paused and I switched apps for maybe 10 seconds, if that. Since I upgraded to iOS 12 (from iOS 10), if I pause IntervalTimer Pro and switch to another app, my routine stops. I used to be able to pause IntervalTimer Pro, fight the raid, then resume my routine. On my walking/saunter route, sometimes I stop to get in a raid. I use this to walk/slow trot in intervals. Post your workout to Facebook or Twitter Play your song or playlist during your workout Continue to run even when screen is locked Customizable sets, high/low intensity interval and rest for your own need Running foreground, background or with device locked, this reliable app allows you specify an overall time as well as program High/Low intensity interval and rest time between sets. Whether your into cycling, running, lifting weights, exercise, workout, stretching, boxing, MMA or HIT, this interval timer will prove to be an invaluable asset to you.
